Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact: A Voluntary, Alternative & Expedited Process for Nurse Licensure

Tuesday, January 16, 2018
10:30 am - 11:30 am CST
Via Webinar

Program Description

On December 11, the governor signed into law 2017 Wisconsin Act 135, which ratifies and enters Wisconsin into the “enhanced” Nurse Licensure Compact (“eNLC”). The eNLC protects an existing alternative, voluntary, and expedited process for a nurse to receive a license and provide care to patients in Wisconsin or any of the other 26 states that have joined the eNLC. This webinar will provide information on eligibility criteria for eNLC multistate licenses, which nurses who currently hold a multistate license will be “grandfathered” into the eNLC, and which states are members of the eNLC. The webinar will also provide details about how and when the eNLC will be implemented in Wisconsin.
